Mr. Buterman has been and continues to be actively engaged in the Real Estate funding and Merchant Banking industry. 

In 2002 Mr. Buterman co-founded the Axcess Capital Group of Companies, which has grown over the past nine years to administer and / or manage over $100,000,000 in secured real estate investments, and includes Axcess Capital Partners Inc., Axcess Capital Advisors Inc. and Axcess Capital Management Ltd.  Axcess Capital Partners Inc. is a private real estate investment company focusing on the underwriting of small to medium sized commercial projects primarily in Western Canada.  Axcess Capital Advisors Inc. is a private, securities registered Investment Fund Manager, Exempt Market Dealer and Portfolio Manager specializing in real estate backed debt. Axcess Capital Management Ltd. is a private management company that provides all the administration and accounting support for Axcess Capital Partners Inc. and Axcess Capital Advisors Inc. For the past nine years, Mr. Buterman has been one of the principals and managing partners of the Axcess Capital Group of Companies and has served those companies in numerous official capacities, currently acting as President of Axcess Capital Partners Inc., while also serving as the President and CEO of Axcess Capital Management Ltd. and the Secretary-Treasurer of Axcess Capital Advisors Inc. 

Prior to his involvement with the Axcess Group of Companies, Mr. Buterman served as a founder and Managing Partner of Inter Group Consulting, a Financial Consulting / Real Estate Funding and Mortgage Brokerage company extensively involved in commercial and multi-residential real estate projects in Western Canada and the South Western United States.  Founded in 1982, Inter Group was eventually sold to a major Canadian bank in 1996.

In addition to his in-depth experience in the real estate and mortgage sector, Mr. Buterman has developed courses for numerous educational and commercial institutions and industry participants and lectured extensively in Finance, Real Estate Finance and Mortgage Financing.  Mr. Buterman has also instructed and lectured in the areas of Credit Underwriting, Credit Analysis and Risk Analysis covering Commercial Real Estate Investment and Commercial Real Estate Finance.  He currently presides as an appointed board member (6-year term) of the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) and currently holds the position of Vice Chair, and is a member of several other real estate industry organizations.

Trevor Stott

Axcess Capital Management Ltd. is a private management company that provides all the administration and accounting support for Axcess Capital Partners Inc. and Axcess Capital Advisors Inc.  For the past nine years, Mr. Stott has been one of the principals and managing partners of the Axcess Capital Group of Companies and has served those companies in numerous official capacities, currently acting as Secretary-Treasurer and CFO of both Axcess Capital Partners Inc. and Axcess Capital Management Ltd., while also serving as the President of Axcess Capital Advisors Inc.  Mr. Stott is also presently appointed as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Ultimate Designated Person (UDP) for Axcess Capital Advisors Inc., pursuant to securities’ regulations.

Before establishing the Axcess Capital Group of Companies, Mr. Stott held several senior officer and accounting positions, including CFO and COO, for numerous businesses in the oil and gas industry and other industries, including publicly traded companies, and has also consulted businesses on the subjects of strategic acquisitions and corporate finance. 

A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Stott has extensive experience in both public accounting and public and private industries.  Over a period of 28 year he served as Controller and CFO for several small to medium sized businesses in the oil and gas, oil services, agriculture and technology sectors, developing and implementing accounting and financial reporting systems and departments.  He also has over 14 years of public accounting experience, including his own public accounting practice, providing financial statement and business advisory services to clients in non-profit, oil and gas, real estate, technology and manufacturing businesses,  

Mr. Stott has also been actively involved in the real estate investment industry in other capacities.  As Lead Partner of a real estate development company, Mr. Stott has experience with the private acquisition, design and construction of commercial real estate projects. 

Mr. Stott currently serves as a director, Secretary-Treasurer and CFO of six other mortgage investment corporations.

Christopher McKenzie

In April 2011, Mr. McKenzie joined the Axcess Capital Group of Companies, becoming a director of Axcess Capital Management Ltd. and Axcess Capital Advisors Inc.  Prior to joining the Axcess Capital Group of Companies, Mr. McKenzie founded Infuse Capital Corporation, a private lending mortgage brokerage, and two private real estate investment companies, Infuse Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation and Infuse Diversified M.I.C. Inc., each focused on the underwriting of small to medium sized commercial projects primarily in Western Canada.  Mr. McKenzie served as President of both Infuse Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation and Infuse Diversified MIC until April 2011 and is currently the President of Infuse Capital Corporation. 

Mr. McKenzie is a licensed mortgage associate in the Province of Alberta and an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and an Exempt Market Representative (EMR) registered with Axcess Capital Advisors Inc.  He has also spoken at and participated in several relevant investment industry conferences, including the World Alternative Investment Summit and Conference (WAISC), where Mr. McKenzie had the opportunity to sit as a panel member on mortgage investment corporations. 

Mr. McKenzie is also a director of six other mortgage investment corporations.

Mike Rowell

In April 2011, Mr. Rowell joined the Axcess Capital Group of Companies, becoming a director and COO of Axcess Capital Management Ltd., as well as a director of Axcess Capital Advisors Inc.  Prior to joining the Axcess Capital Group of Companies, Mr. Rowell founded Trimor Home Finance Corporation o/a The Mortgage Centre Canada, a Canadian mortgage brokerage.  Mr. Rowell also founded Trimor Mortgage Investment Corporation, a mortgage investment corporation focusing on the underwriting of small to medium sized residential and commercial projects primarily in Western Canada.  Mr. Rowell served as Managing Director and CEO of Trimor Mortgage Investment Corporation until April 2011 and presently serves as the Director and CEO of Trimor Equity Corporation. 

Mr. Rowell has also co-founded and managed several successful entrepreneurial ventures in commercial and residential real-estate development, real-estate investment and financing, and a public international Internet based storage group that was eventually sold to a NASDAQ listed company for over $60,000,000. In addition, Mr. Rowell has held senior management positions and served as a member of the Board of Directors with numerous private and publicly traded companies on the Alberta, TSX and NASDAQ stock exchanges.  

Mr. Rowell is licensed in Alberta as a Mortgage Broker and is an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and currently sits on the board of directors of six other mortgage investment corporations.
