The Axcess Capital Group of Companies (“Axcess”) was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in one of the most vibrant and flourishing cities in North America — Calgary, Alberta.
As an Exempt Market Dealer registered under the securities regulations of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario, Axcess is committed to product excellence, investment security, and professional service. We draw on years of collective experience in the financial services industry to understand the need for safety of income and how to achieve it.
We believe there is a real need for secured mortgage products to serve the increasing demand of investors in today’s myriad of mutual funds and investment fund offerings.
Our business model is to create a mortgage investment product that is both independently underwritten and fully transparent. This type of investment provides steady returns* using a fixed-income product to compliment most existing investment portfolios. All mortgage loans are arms-length from Axcess.
Your investments are secured through mortgages against real estate property, providing a higher than average return while minimizing the risk*.
Our investors typically do not want to own or manage property, yet believe strongly in the underlying ASSET of real estate.
Axcess mortgage investment funds can be purchased as a direct investment** on a single property, or through purchasing preferred shares in a pool of mortgages, typically a Mortgage Investment Corporation (MIC) managed by Axcess.
* With all direct mortgage investments, there is an element of risk that includes the borrower not making the payments when required. This may cause YOU the lender to experience cash flow interruptions. If cash flow is critical in your investment strategy, investing through one of our MICs or LPs is more suitable due to the diversification within them. Please contact Axcess Capital Advisors Inc. if you would like to receive details of the actual annual performance for prior periods. Future returns are dependent upon a series of factors including market lending rates, fluctuations in the value of the underlying real estate, and default risk. Prior returns may not be indicative of future returns.
