A: The Axcess Capital Group of Companies was established in 2002. The principals of Axcess have been mortgage bankers since 1978.

- The security of the investment is real property (real estate, or "dirt"). Unlike stocks, commodities or other volatile investment vehicles, mortgage investments are secured by real estate. That means you can actually drive by it, see it, stand on it and touch it, and for the most part it will be in the same spot tomorrow as it is today. In other words, “DIRT” is tangible and real, unlike many mutual funds and stocks.

Q: What is the minimum investment?
A: The minimum investment in one of our Mortgage Investment Corporations ("MICs") is $5,000. Investments of $150,000 or more are usually required to invest in a direct mortgage.
Q: What is the term on most loans?
A: Most loans are generally short term (12 to 36 months).
Q: Why would a borrower choose Axcess versus a bank?
A: Our underwriting advisory team can offer greater flexibility in the financing of real estate projects than traditional banking institutions.
Q: What fees am I charged as an investor?
A: We do not charge our investors any fees to invest and participate in any of our mortgage investment funds. Axcess earns fees from the borrower for placing, administering and servicing the mortgage loans, and through the management and administration of the various mortgage investment funds.
Q: When is the interest paid?
A: Interest is paid monthly, or you may also choose to reinvest the earnings into additional preferred shares in one of our MICs.
Q: Can interest payments be deposited directly into my bank account?
A: For investor ease and convenience, we prefer to directly deposit to the bank account of your choice. If your investment is made through a registered account such as an RRSP, RRIF, LIRA or TFSA then funds are sent directly to the institution that holds your plan.
