What is a Mortgage Loan Investment?
A mortgage loan investment is a loan funded by the Mortgage Investment Corporation ("MIC") investors to a qualified borrower, secured against the real estate assets (land and buildings) and registered on title.
Once a mortgage is accepted by the borrower, it is registered at the land titles office. THIS becomes the MAIN SECURITY behind a mortgage loan investment.
Return on Investment (ROI)
Your mortgage loan investments can yield an average of 8% to 12% per year. Borrowers make monthly interest payments, which are then distributed to the investors.
Choices
We believe that our investors should have a choice of the investments in which they participate.
We provide our investors the opportunity to review information on the investments, such as recent appraisals or valuations on properties, planned use of funds, cost breakdowns, financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and other pertinent deal information.
Our MIC's work in much the same way. Whether you invest in a syndicated mortgage or within one of our MIC’s, you will be given the opportunity to review relevant deal documentation. This allows you, the investor, to “track” the portfolio and decide if the “mix” is acceptable to your investment tolerance.
